    The brief:

Having not found what they were looking for elsewhere, our clients approached us to create a spacious family kitchen which would cater for everyone, whilst not looking crowded.

    Our execution:

Storage was a vital part of this project, but the client was concerned that only using base units for storage could be problematic on a daily basis, so to address this we created a design with predominantly drawers, which fully extended to optimise access. Coupled with the addition of of clever larder storage and a ‘chefs pantry’, storage and access were no longer issues.

The room size here was great for an island, which would be a great centre point. Adding seating would ensure everyone could find their space at the island, whether this was to sit and have a chat, prepare a meal or even for their children to sit and do homework.

With warm Oak flooring and coordinating island worktop, we decided to keep the main kitchen worktop neutral with an off white textured quartz all pulled together with Zoffany’s ‘Victorian Purple’, a decadent purple which makes a real statement in the room.

Julia has helped us to create a truly beautiful kitchen which the whole family enjoys spending time in. Julia always worked really hard with all our requirements to make sure we got exactly what we wanted, whilst adding her design eye to make sure it looked beautiful. My constant questioning so that I fully understood all the options and exactly what was being done were never too much trouble
